Get the SCOOP on dog food: Authority brand dog food
In the first part of our series, youâll notice the foods are similar (in rating, ingredients, etc.)  They are all from a similar category of food, what many in the pet industry refer to as âgrocery storeâ brands of dog food. Usually these are lower in cost but also lower in nutrition, and you can find them in almost every grocery sore chain. The foods in the next part of this series are a little higher up on the food-chain (pun intended) you might find some of these in grocery stores still, but offer more nutritionally.  We will be looking at 3 different foods from this group: Iams, Authority brand dog food, and Purina Pro Plan; overall they have higher quality ingredients and less fillers.
The first food we will be looking at is a brand exclusive to PetSmart stores, itâs called Authority. Authority is a good brand for those pet parents on a budget ($ 30 for their 34lb bag) and it comes in chicken, beef and lamb formula as well as puppy, adult, large breed and weight management. For the amount of choices, Authority is a great stepping stone for pet parents looking to improve their dogâs diet.
